Refrigerator Water Dispenser Not Working

Hello, Friends Welcome To Appliance Tech Pro, in This Post, We Are Going To Tell You About An Awesome Thing. So, Let’s Know Why refrigerator water dispenser not Working

01- Water Inlet Valve

To deliver water to the dispenser, the water inlet valve opens. However, if the water pressure is too low or if the valve is malfunctioning, it may stop working. The water pressure must be at least 20 psi for the valve to work properly (psi being the measurement of water pressure in pounds per square inch). If you don’t have enough water pressure, you can use a multimeter to check the water entry valve for continuity.

02 – Water Dispenser Control Board

Most of the functions of the dispenser system are controlled by the dispenser control board. If the control board malfunctions, the entire dispenser system may lose power.  Before you test the entire control board, you should test each dispenser component. If you discover that the entire dispenser system isn’t operating in your case, it’s possible that your control board is to blame.

03 – Water Dispenser Switch

When the refrigerator door is open, the door switch switches off the ice and water dispenser. The dispenser will not work if one of the dispenser switches is broken. Use a multimeter to check for continuity in each dispenser switch to see whether it’s broken. Replace any dispenser switches that do not have continuity.

04 – Water Dispenser Tube in Door is Frozen

Disconnect the water supply tube at the bottom of the door and blow air through it to see if it’s frozen. If no air passes through, the water supply tube is frozen. Thaw the water supply tubing if it is frozen. Also, make sure the freezer is kept at the correct temperature. The freezer should be kept between 0 and 10 degrees Fahrenheit. The water line may freeze if the freezer is too cold.
